Ambire Journal Vol.9: The Fam is Growing
The extension went from 4,000 installs to over 20,000 users. This edition covers the upcoming mobile app and its first demo, Safe multisig and hardware wallet support, default fee tokens, per-app account connections, and Uniswap API in Swap & Bridge.
Yoo Ambire people, how’s everyone doing? Since we’re based in Europe, we’ve been summermaxxing and pushing cool tech for you. The time has come for a fresh community update, starting with some amazing news…
We’re now a family of 20,000+ users. The extension had a mere 4,000 installs in October 2025, a nice 5x in user base growth during the bear market, even if we say so ourselves 🔥
As always, keep us busy by sharing your thoughts about the wallet and what you feel is missing!
20,000 💜

Mobile is on its way
A mobile app is finally coming to your pocket, and a couple of happy testers already rock it. Nudge the team to be among the early testers while we’re working on rolling out the beta soon 📱
You can expect a similar experience to what you enjoy in the browser extension. Same features, just anywhere with you.
See Ivan and Cinesius show off the app for the first time on a livestream with timestamps included:

For the rest of the summer, you can expect:
- Mobile app full launch
- $WALLET transparency board
- Private transfers testing
- Shipping feedback and features on the go
Before we go back to building, let’s see what people recently shared about the wallet…
🗞️ Love from the timeline
Ambire & Safe multisig is a match made in heaven.
Take this as an opportunity

Migrate your funds from your EOA wallet to a 1/1 Safe (simpler and cheaper to move money than revoke plenty of approvals) you can put your EOA as the signer for now
Install @ambire wallet, using a safe with it and doing batch revoke is amazing, also… https://t.co/TkK8qAeFOp

When are you guys @Rabby_io and @MetaMask gonna do it? https://t.co/Rovmd0wWE1
Someone paint this and hang it in the Louvre.
@ambire, the most privacy respecting, Ethereum supporting wallet ever. Their 7702 implementation is a banger. I love bundled transactions. The interface is clean. I love that I can configure and use my local node before importing wallets to avoid doxxing my accounts to Consensys,…

quite a few delightful moments, including ENS names being used really well throughout. nice safety touches too.
Doing crypto on mobile has not been amazing so far, and we’re up to change that.
The demo from the guys at @ambire for their mobile wallet looks really promising. Maybe we can finally get a user friendly mobile experience for the masses.

And I am saying that as a passionate mobile wallet hater. Congrats! 👏 https://t.co/TUJEf0jSO9

🔥 Do cool stuff with Ambire
Clear signing = see transactions translated to a human-readable format. If you don’t see transactions humanized with your favorite apps yet, point them to clearsigning.org.
Blind signing out, clear signing in. See it in action with your favorite apps 🧵

Remember the Ambire Vault concept? It’s a 2/2 Safe multisig setup with one signer on extension and the second on mobile. While there is an account creation wizard in Ambire yet, you can see it in action, demoed by Ivan:
> Create a 2/2 @safe account and import 1 signer in the @ambire browser extension
— vanzoo (@vanzooeth) July 31, 2026
> Import the second signer in the Ambire mobile app
> You now have а better security setup than most people out there pic.twitter.com/0cXXgz9h0r
You can now use Ambire in combo with almost all hardware wallets. Ledger, Trezor, GridPlus, Keycard, Keystone, imToken, the list goes on…

We heard you like gas as cheap as possible (lolz who doesn’t), and now you have the ability to select the default fee token preference. See this tweet for a little gas rant and full context.
NEW: Default fee token preference.$ETH (native) is now the default fee token across all networks. Users can promote the gas tank or various tokens as the new network default. pic.twitter.com/2RGy5GFClj

We can’t stop talking about it, but you should totally try using Safe multisig in Ambire 💚💜
