Ambire Journal Vol.9: The Fam is Growing

The extension went from 4,000 installs to over 20,000 users. This edition covers the upcoming mobile app and its first demo, Safe multisig and hardware wallet support, default fee tokens, per-app account connections, and Uniswap API in Swap & Bridge.

Yoo Ambire people, how’s everyone doing? Since we’re based in Europe, we’ve been summermaxxing and pushing cool tech for you. The time has come for a fresh community update, starting with some amazing news…

We’re now a family of 20,000+ users. The extension had a mere 4,000 installs in October 2025, a nice 5x in user base growth during the bear market, even if we say so ourselves 🔥

As always, keep us busy by sharing your thoughts about the wallet and what you feel is missing!

Mobile is on its way

A mobile app is finally coming to your pocket, and a couple of happy testers already rock it. Nudge the team to be among the early testers while we’re working on rolling out the beta soon 📱

You can expect a similar experience to what you enjoy in the browser extension. Same features, just anywhere with you.

🔥 Do cool stuff with Ambire

Clear signing = see transactions translated to a human-readable format. If you don’t see transactions humanized with your favorite apps yet, point them to clearsigning.org.

Remember the Ambire Vault concept? It’s a 2/2 Safe multisig setup with one signer on extension and the second on mobile. While there is an account creation wizard in Ambire yet, you can see it in action, demoed by Ivan:

You can now use Ambire in combo with almost all hardware wallets. Ledger, Trezor, GridPlus, Keycard, Keystone, imToken, the list goes on…

We heard you like gas as cheap as possible (lolz who doesn’t), and now you have the ability to select the default fee token preference. See this tweet for a little gas rant and full context.

Swap & Bridge now covers tons of routes, including direct Uniswap API 🦄

Using apps got easier and more private, thanks to the ability to select per-app account connections!
