Take Back Ownership: A Self-Custody Manifesto
The article emphasizes the importance of self-custody in the crypto world and introduces Ambire Wallet as a tool for secure asset management.
If there is one thing we learned in 2022, it's that self-custody in crypto is not just important. It's everything.
We witnessed way too many custodial rugs to doubt that self-custody is the only way forward. It's painfully obvious that you can't rely on centralized, custodial wallets for keeping your digital wealth - especially when there are tools like Ambire Wallet that let you store and use your crypto in a way that is a piece of cake.
Today we say: it's time to take back ownership of our crypto assets. We are joining Safe and a number of other Web3 projects on the quest of putting ownership where it belongs: in the hands of owners.
The Take Back Ownership movement
No matter how much or how little crypto you hold, it is your digital wealth and it's up to you to protect it. It is up to us, the buidlers in the space, to give you the right tools to do so.
How can you participate?
- Keep your crypto in a non-custodial wallet. With a wallet like Ambire, you can easily connect to any dApp and still use your assets without compromising their security.
- Talk about self-custody. Put the topic out in the open, tweet about it, share your experience, and help us educate the world about the importance of non-custodial wallets.
- Formally join the Take Back Ownership movement by signing the manifesto and minting the exclusive NFT.
Stay safe!
