MEV-Protected Swaps Now Available in the Ambire Swap & Bridge with CoW Swap
CoW Swap is now integrated into the built-in Swap & Bridge feature in Ambire offering MEV protection for swaps.
Swapping tokens within Ambire just got another layer of protection. We have integrated CoW Swap into the built-in Swap & Bridge feature, giving users access to CoW Swap alongside existing swap providers such as Socket, Li.Fi, and Uniswap. As always, Ambire’s quote system automatically compares the available routes and surfaces the best option for each trade, meaning CoW Swap appears when it offers the most competitive route - and you can still choose your route manually, too.
But this integration isn’t simply about adding another liquidity source. CoW Swap brings something particularly valuable that others may not: built-in protection against MEV.
Bigger choice made easier
One of the advantages of Ambire’s Swap & Bridge experience is that you, as a user, don't need to figure out which provider is best for a particular trade all by yourself.
Instead, we compare the available routes and present the most competitive option. CoW Swap is now part of that process, alongside the other providers already integrated into Ambire. So you can continue to use the same familiar swap interface while getting access to a different execution mechanism when it makes sense.
And that's important because CoW Swap may not necessarily be the winner for every trade, but becomes increasingly relevant for larger or more complex swaps, while other providers may offer better quotes for smaller trades.
MEV-protected swaps
One of the main reasons for adding CoW Swap is MEV protection. MEV (Maximal Extractable Value) can occur when bots and other sophisticated market participants take advantage of pending transactions. One well-known example is a sandwich attack, in which a bot places transactions around a user's trade to profit from the resulting price movement.
CoW Swap approaches this differently. Rather than simply sending a traditional swap transaction directly to an on-chain liquidity pool, users sign an intent to trade. CoW Protocol then uses competing solvers and batch auctions to find an optimal way to execute orders. This architecture helps protect trades from common forms of MEV while also creating opportunities for better execution.

For Ambire users, this means that when the quote system selects a CoW Swap route, the UI now makes that benefit visible. CoW Swap routes are marked with an MEV protection indicator, so you can immediately see when your swap comes with this additional layer of protection.
It may be a small UI detail, but it is important: users shouldn't have to understand the entire mechanics of MEV to know whether they're getting protection from it or not.
Another perk of CoW Swap orders: quotes stay valid for 30 minutes. That’s a big deal for Safe multisig users, since every signer has time to approve the swap. Share this with your fellow Safe users and give it a try.
Know what you’re signing
We also built a custom “translator” for CoW Swap transactions. When you interact with CoW Swap through Ambire's built-in Swap & Bridge feature, we verify the CoW Swap order hash and display the actual order details (including the tokens and amounts involved) rather than leaving you to sign a transaction containing an opaque hash. Because you should understand what you’re signing.

Instead of presenting a raw transaction and asking you to trust that it reflects the swap you intended to make, we turn the underlying CoW Swap order into something much easier to read and verify.
About CoW Swap
CoW Swap is a decentralized exchange powered by CoW Protocol, an intents-based trading protocol that combines batch auctions, solver competition, and Coincidence of Wants to improve trade execution. Instead of directly executing a swap against a single liquidity pool, users sign a trade intent, and competing solvers search for the best way to execute it using available liquidity. This architecture provides MEV protection while giving solvers an incentive to find better prices and capture surplus for traders. CoW Swap also supports advanced order types, including limit orders and TWAP orders.
