Connect to Any dApp with Ambire Wallet and WalletConnect
Ambire Wallet's WalletConnect integration allows for secure and straightforward connections to various decentralized applications.
Ambire Wallet lets you connect to any dApp thanks to our WalletConnect integration.
We are happy to announce that Ambire Wallet lets you connect to any decentralized application (dApp) because of our WalletConnect integration.
What is WalletConnect
WalletConnect is a web3 open protocol that allows crypto wallets to connect to and interact with dApps securely. The protocol is supported by a large number of wallets and dApps such as Uniswap, Aave, OpenSea, ENS Domains, Etherscan, etc.
How does WalletConnect work
In order to connect to a dApp using WalletConnect, users are required to scan a QR code, copy a code or select a wallet from the WalletConnect list (Ambire Wallet is indeed already there).
WalletConnect and Ambire Wallet
In order to use your Ambire Wallet to interact with dApps, you just need to go to the dApp that you’ll be using, then select the option to connect or login, and select the WalletConnect option.
Then you can click on the “Copy to clipboard” option, and once it’s copied, go back to the Ambire Wallet tab/window — you’ll be connected automatically. For this option, you will need to allow the “Copy to clipboard” functionality for Ambire in your browser.
Alternatively, you can simply go to the “Desktop” tab in the WalletConnect popup, and see that Ambire Wallet is there already. You just click it, and you’re then connected to the dApp — as simple as that.
