Ambire Journal vol.8
The 8th edition of Ambire Journal is served...

Hey fam, welcome to a new episode of “Catching Up with Everything,” a.k.a the Ambire Journal.

The social feeds are getting Ambire-pilled, as we shipped a bunch of cool stuff, and it's time for a rundown in one place.

We love seeing usage numbers grow and are eager to work hard to improve the wallet. Keep us busy with ideas and reports 🫡

Have a look at the recently shipped features you can now enjoy in the extension. We covered each feature in detail in this X thread.

Recently shipped features. What should we ship next?

Next up, you can expect:

  • Clear signing support with EIP-7730 in the next weeks, finally putting blind signing to rest! A lil sneak peek was shared on Ambire X.
  • Ability to set per-app network connection, a heavily requested feature lately.
  • The Mobile app will be ready in a couple of months.
  • Shipping features based on user feedback, as always.
  • Private transfers with Railgun & Privacy Pools in sync with Kohaku development. Let’s chat a bit more about that.

Privacy season?

Privacy is neither a meta nor a narrative at Ambire; it’s how the wallet is built from the ground up. You might have heard about Kohaku in last week’s so let’s refresh the storyline quickly:

Wallets do a poor job at protecting user privacy: that’s why the Ethereum Foundation started working on “Kohaku”, an SDK that brings privacy and security solutions to any EVM wallet.

In terms of features, we are talking about private transfers and private data retrieval, no IP tracking, a light client, and more down the line. Ambire’s codebase has been forked for this mission, and we intend to support features as they emerge.

🔥 Do cool stuff with Ambire

Paying for gas in tokens is not just a gimmick! Your friend will onramp FIAT-ZCHF/USDC… and expect to continue transacting. Ambire now supports gas payments in USDC, USDT, BOLD, ZCHF, JPYC, and many more.

Don’t send your precious assets to scammers. Ambire introduced a transfer feature that actively prevents you from falling into the address poisoning trap.

Transaction batching ftw. Play around with the “Start a batch” button, which allows you to batch transfers, swaps, token revocations, or any combination of transactions.

Transaction history is much more legible now. The activity cards display which app you used and the change in token balance. Pro tip: you can easily repeat a transaction from the activity card 😉

Cute!

Teach them young 💜

Merch from EthCC 2026 might never be forgotten.

Ambire room posters would be cool swag. We might do it, but if you want to go ahead, here you go:

That’s a wrap for this edition. Thank you for reading, and see ya around! 💜
