Stop $WALLET Claiming for Web Wallet, Rewards S0, and Early Supporters Vesting

Ambire proposes to wrap up long-running claims: end $WALLET claiming for Web Wallet Rewards, Rewards Season 0, and Early Supporter Vesting after one last 15-day period. Only unclaimed tokens are impacted; claimed stay as is. Rewards Seasons 1–2 remain out of scope.

Ambire proposes to stop $WALLET claiming for older rewards initiatives

We’re proposing to close out legacy claiming flows so Ambire can focus resources and liquidity on the Ambire Wallet Extension and current Rewards seasons. This proposal asks the community to stop the remaining $WALLET claims for:

Web Wallet (v1) Rewards, and
Ambire Rewards Season 0 (formerly Ambire Legends).
Early Supporters Vesting

Proposal overview

If approved, Ambire will:

Open a final 15-day claim window for Web Wallet Rewards, Ambire Rewards Season 0, and Early Supporters Vesting.
After that window, claims will be closed.
Already-claimed tokens remain unaffected.
Unclaimed tokens will not be minted after the window ends.

Scope notes:

Ambire Rewards Seasons 1 and 2 are not affected.
Only unclaimed tokens from the Web Wallet Rewards (incl. Early Supporters Vesting) and Season 0 are covered here.

The question is: Should Ambire stop $WALLET claiming for Web Wallet rewards, Rewards Season 0, and Early Supporters Vesting, with a final 15-day claim window?

Motivation

The Web Wallet is legacy. The v1 Web Wallet is in maintenance mode (security updates only) and is no longer Ambire’s focus. Web Wallet Rewards ended on Aug 8, 2024. Closing legacy claims helps move $WALLET liquidity from v1 to v2 (Extension), where the ecosystem is growing.
Staking incentives ended. As approved in Season 2, auto-staking rewards stopped; aligning legacy claim flows with today’s model keeps token economics cleaner.
Season 0 ended on May 8, 2025. Users have had more than six months to claim. A final, clearly communicated 15-day window is fair and lets us close this chapter.
Create urgency, boost participation. A clear deadline nudges holders to claim, engage, and redeploy $WALLET: vote in governance, provide liquidity, or stake via the Rewards app for better outcomes in current and upcoming seasons.

What this means for you

If you already claimed, nothing changes.
If you haven’t claimed Season 0, Web Wallet Rewards, or Early Supporters Vesting, you’ll have 15 days to do so if the vote passes. After that, claims close.

Voting eligibility

Hold $WALLET or $stkWALLET before the snapshot.
$stkWALLET counts 2× the voting power of $WALLET (equivalently, $WALLET = 0.5×).
Token changes after the snapshot do not affect voting power.

Discussion timeline

Starts: Feb 4, 2026, at 15:00 UTC
Ends: Feb 11, 2026, at 15:00 UTC (7 days total)

Voting on Snapshot will follow right after the discussion window. If approved, the 15-day final claim window will open upon announcement of the vote result; exact start/end timestamps will be posted in Discord, on the blog, and in-app.
