Ambire Is Off to Cannes

Can you believe it’s already time for EthCC[9] in Cannes? Devconnect in Buenos Aires feels like it was last month, and wasn’t ETHDenver just last week?

But a slightly changed event calendar for 2026 doesn’t stop us at Ambire. Read on to see what we have in store for Cannes.

EthCC main conference

As is now tradition, we are proud to support the main EthCC conference as a Sapphire sponsor. This means we will have a booth on the first 2 days (March 30th and 31st), where you will get a chance to talk to the team about wallets, check out the upcoming Ambire mobile app (and even get your hands on it if you’re lucky), and grab some special Côte d'Azur-inspired swag.

Two of our team members will also be speaking at EthCC[9], mark your calendars:

• Firstly, on March 31st, 2026, at 13:40 on the Taylor Stage on the 4th floor, our marketing manager, Nadia Ivanova-Banda, will be talking about doing Web3 marketing without actually doing any marketing, looking at the most successful marketing stunts in Web3.
• Then, on April 1st, 2026, at 11:15, tech lead Kaloyan Kosev will talk about EIP-7702 and hardware wallets: a candid talk about wrestling with hardware wallet friction, whitelist politics, ecosystem misalignment, and what it actually takes to ship EIP-7702 in production.

WalletCon

WalletCon, a one-day conference gathering the leading companies, developers, designers, and innovators building the future of payments & onchain finance, is coming back to Cannes on Tuesday, March 31st, 2026!

After successful editions in Denver and Buenos Aires in 2025, which saw over a thousand participants each, it is time for a French Riviera edition, and you can expect a day focused on what’s actually moving in payments:

• ​Real-world crypto & stablecoin payment flows
• ​Product announcements and live demos
• ​Conversations with teams building global payment infrastructure

Ambire will have a booth (with swag too), and CEO Ivo Georgiev will take to the stage at 13:20 to discuss whether we can (and should) replace hardware wallets - do not miss it!

Free Cannes walking tours with Ambire

And because we know that conferences can be overwhelming, we’re offering EthCC attendees a chance to network in a different setting. ​We’re organizing a 90-minute free walking tour through Cannes (which we will run three times during conference week) - for those who remember that a good deal is better when you’ve seen the sea first. This is a typical tourist Cannes tour, but with a twist: attended by founders, degens, operators, and the occasional philosopher disguised as a crypto bro.

We’ll trade fluorescent-lit halls for sun-washed boulevards, salty air, old facades, and that unmistakable French Riviera mood: a little elegant, a little excessive, and exactly what you need after too many hours indoors.
