Upbit is partnering with Bittrex, which has recently become one of the largest alto in exchanges. The partnership was announced about a month ago and the exchange is now in beta, extending invitations to subscribers.
Upbit is developed by Kakao, an online corporation offering instant messaging, a social network, online payments, etc. Creating its alt coin exchange is a logical step as South Korea is currently gaining a huge momentum in terms of trading volumes, overtaking China and Japan. The exchange includes over 110 alt coins and offers transactions between fiat and cryptocurrencies.
